One of my favorite countries in Africa (and believe me there is a tough competition!) I love Kenya, because of its diversity.

Yes there is really amazing landscapes, amazing safari opportunities, amazing landscapes and world class beaches all over this country, if you want to impress Africa a little bit, I think Kenya is the place!
But this is definitely Africa, and as Kenya is prepared (as it is for this part of the world), it's still good to be a bit prepared before you go here, especially if it's your Is the continent's first opportunity.

In my experience, they are ready to help you tremendously and are happy if you share a passion for their beautiful nation as well. Perhaps one of the reasons why Kenyans are happy to welcome you to their own country is because of how difficult their economy has been in the recent years due to the lack of tourists.
Yes, due to some unfortunate terrorist activities, international tourists have stopped visiting Kenya over the past decade and many in the tourism industry are now struggling to earn a living. Kenya.
In my experience, this country is incredibly safe for foreign visitors and if you stay on the main tourist route, you should have no problems.
